Charles Scribner's Sons, 1954. School library sticker ffep and library marking on spine, else no other library stamps or marks. Red hardcover binding ha some wear along edges but square and tight. Dated 1954, but no letter on title page, so early reprint. Interior tight and secure, some smudges but overall a good reading copy. Great Paul Brown illustrations in color on every page help tell the story of young Sparkie meeting the gray pony Puff Ball and learning to ride and work on the ranch.. Illus. by Brown, Paul. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
