Spain: Sacre Facultatis Theologicae. Text block only, detached from binding, which is not present. First few pages show creases, small tears at edges, else clean and sound. This very rare religious tract, TEXT IN LATIN, is believed to have been published in Spain cerca 1750, during the reign of Pope Benedict XIV (1740 - 1758). Ramirez was Bishop of Tuy-Vigo, a province of Pontevedra, Spain, from 1771 - 1774, at the start of the Spanish Inquisition. This instruction in the vanquishing of religious heresies is unpaginated for the first sixteen pages, then jumps to page 33, at which point there is a dedication to Pope Benedict. The numbered pages continue to page 129, followed by a page of Errata. Ramirez also authored another book on religious orthodoxy: "Begin. Schola orthodoxa septem Catholicas diatribas offert ... Benedicto XIV. Pont. Opt. Max., etc" , and co-authored "Papeles Curiosos Manuscritos". . Good. Disbound. 1st Edition. 1750.
