Oxford: Bodleian Library, 1927. First. Softcover. Very Good. University Extension Meeting July-August 1927. This work is based on "A catalogue of the Shakespeare exhibition held in the Bodleian library to commemorate the death of Shakespeare, April 23, 1616", which was published in 1916, and which had been out of print. It was the focus of an extension meeting at Oxford in the summer of 1927.
It includes a summary of the Bodleian's Shakespeare holdings, and description of the 14 components of the exhibition and appendices with John Aubrey's Life of Shakespeare and other information.
This copy is very good+ ij plain gray wrappers. Minor chipping and wear at the edges, mainly due to the oversized wrappers. Very slight foxing, primarily on the endpapers. No other marks or damage at all.. CH.
