Bound in publisher's first binding, olive brown with publisher's device in blind on upper cover, lettered in gilt on spine, top edge gilt. Near Fine with light fading to cloth at spine and top edge of upper board. Offsetting to endsheets, foxing to textblock edge and to several sporadic leaves throughout. Pound's literary criticism of a variety of European literature, based on lectures he delivered at the Regent Street Polytechnic in London between 1908 and 1909. Gallup A5a.
