Cloth binding, 602 pp. Jean Leclercq, O.S.B., was a French Benedictine monk, the author of classic studies on Lectio Divina and the history of inter-monastic dialogue, as well as the life and theology of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. Francois Vandenbroucke was a Catholic priest and a Benedictine monk from the Abbey of Mont-Cesar de Louvain (Belgium) known for his work on Christian spirituality and liturgy. Louis Bouyer, Cong. Orat. was a French Lutheran minister who was received into the Catholic Church in 1939. During his religious career he was a scholar who was relied upon during the Second Vatican Council. He was known for his books on Christian spirituality and its history. Translated from the French by The Benedictines of Holme Eden Abbey, Carlisle. Boards scuffed. No writing inside, front hinge nearly repaired with fine tape. Very good.. Reprint. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo.
