Also a gun fight with a party of Sioux while on a buffalo hunt. The author was a British Army officer, seconded to Ottoman forces, and permanently wounded in Nigeria. Introductory biography of Major Leveson by H. F.. Gilt page edges. Minor general wear to binding, a small cut to the front end paper corner, VG text and illustrations.
