Octavo. 5.75 x 8.5 in. 401 pp. Very good in the original navy cloth boards that have minor edge wear, with a poor illustrated dust jacket that has heavy chipping and is completely separated at the front spine. The binding is firm and the pages remain clean and free of foxing. A prior ower's name and address appear on the front interior cover. Inscribed by Parris in black marker on the front free endpaper: "To D__ McFee - With best wishes - John Parris, Sylva, N.C., Dec. 1, 1978.
