Light wear, corner bumped; jacket shows some rubbing, light staining, short tears, small chips, one-inch chip to upper front panel, title not affected, minor damage to rear panel; one corner clipped but $2.00 price remains on the lower corner. Text clean; [48] pages, color & b/w illustrations. The Haders won the Caldecott Medal for The Big Snow, published two years earlier.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Illus. by Berta & Elmer Hader. 6¾" by 8¾".
