First edition of this very scarce and lavishly illustrated ocean liner guest list for around-the-world cruises through Honolulu, Kobe, Japan, Shanghai, China, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Penang, Colombo, Alexandria, Egypt, and back to New York. Originally built as a passenger/cargo ship for the Emergency Fleet Corporation and launched in 1921 as the Pine Tree State, later operated as the SS President Grant with the Dollar Steamship line, and later as the USS Harris (APA-2) transport during World War II.
