Montreal: Louis Carrier & Co, 1929. Cloth. Fine/Fine. Third Impression December 1929 stated, 460 pages including index, comprehensive look into waterways, transportation, history and the St. Lawreence project, also canals between Canada and the United States, Chicago Ship Canal and more, 12 illustrations and 6 maps plus color map endpapers, four of the maps are large folding maps. Book is fine, ultra clean blue cloth boards and gilt titles to front board and spine, tight and square with sharp corners, No previous owner names or marks. Jacket is Fine expect one pea sized hole on spine edge, great illustration of natives paddling a canoe on top of a herd of horses as a huge ship closes in, also a little paper loss on rear panel from sticker, else fine and protected in new mylar sleeve. Very clean and presentable copy. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
