Ottawa, Canada: F. A. Acland , 1927. Edge and corner worn, lightly scuffed and scratched, binding is loose but intact, former owner's name in ink on the ffep of the Report and at the top of the Index of Plates, corners are lightly bumped and rubbed cover of the plates is stained, overall a clean used copy of this very rare report and set of appendicies. Very very scarce and hard-to-find! Volume I contains 459 pages including many tables and diagrams and 9 fold-out maps. Volume 2 is a portfolio containing 89 fold-out diagrams and charts. Wonderfully well-preserved! Extremely rare! Both volumes are contained by dark green cloth with gilt lettering on the front covers and spine. "The Joint Board of Engineers appointed by the Governments of the United States and Canada presents herein its report on the improvement of the St. Lawrence River between Lake Ontario and Montreal, and on related questions referred to it by the two countries." Each volume is signed by James H. Brace. Signed . First Edition / First Printing. Green Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Hardcover.
