Smaller chips to head of dust-jacket spine and lower corner of front panel. Dust-jacket protected in archival mylar cover. ; Copyright date 1904. Title page imprint has date of 1894. [4], (ix)-xii, 448 pages + frontispiece + 8 plates. Vignette illustration on title page. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Blind-stamped "half-leather" pattern to cloth. Page dimensions: 188mm x 123mm. Volume XVII of "The Waverley Novels". This early 20th century dust-jacket has printing on the spine only, the front and rear panels and flaps are blank. .
