The Standard Symphonies has 2 small spots of damage along the spine near the center of the rear external hinge; this damage does not effect the spine title. Former owner's name penned inside all 4 books. Otherwise less than average wear for the grade. Bindings sound. ; Includes 4 volumes: The Standard Cantatas: Their Stories, Their Music, and Their Composers. The Standard Oratorios: Their Stories, Their Music, and Their Composers. The Standard Symphonies: Their History, Their Music, and Their Composers. The Standard Operas: Their Plots, Their Music, and Their Composers. All 4 bound in matching 3/4 brown leather with raised spine bands and gilt spine title and decoration. Boards and end pages are heavy, marbled paper. Block edges gilted. Heavy boards and quality construction give these books a luxurious hand feel you cannot see in a picture. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
