Two volume set, published in 1895. Copyright 1890, 1893 and 1894. A handsome set: leather binding with embossing and gilt rules. Five raised bands on each spine, Marbled endpapers, marbled edges and leather thumb indexes. Covers are rubbed, bumped and chipped, front cover of volume two is lifting away from the hinge. Many black and white plates as well as beautiful four-color plates. Books are in pretty good condition considering their age. Your purchase helps our small public library. pi (AR)
