Publisher's full burgundy cloth, gilt lettering and black decoration on cover, blind-stamped borders and medallion on rear cover. Illustrated with tissue-protected photographic portrait of Threse Malton on frontispiece. N.B. Therese Malten was the stage name of Therese Müller (1855 1930), a well-known German dramatic soprano.. Spine and corners worn, small bookseller's label on fep (Brentano's, Paris), gilt faded, text block unmarked, tight, square, and clean. VERY GOOD..
