London: Olbourne. Good+ in Very Good- dust jacket. 1960. First Edition. Hardcover. Blue cloth boards with silver-gilt titling to the spine. Spine bumped/faded to the head/tail with light 'patching' to the overall sound, tight covers. A large pinkish stain to the rear cover. Corners similarly 'bumped' from storage. Some light 'toning/slight marks/pale spotting' to the page fore-edges, mainly to the top edge. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket. The d/j is chipped with some small loss to the corners/head/tail of the spine, but is now neatly repaired to the reverse of the d/j with clear archive tape, and slightly tinted where necessary, but is NOT price clipped and is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks Very Good. Internally Overall Good/Very Good. Clean and Tight, although the last few pages heve some tn foxing (pale spotting) to the blank page edges. NO Inscriptions. 256 pp. Black and white frontispiece and 14 b/w plates - one plate with 2 images. Overall Good/Good Plus. See Images.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
