This book was signed at the 45th World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon), AKA Conspiracy '87, which was held on 27 August-1 September 1987 at the Metropole Hotel in Brighton. Definitely one for the collectors.

Synopsis

Startide Rising is a 1983 science fiction novel by David Brin and the second book of six set in his Uplift Universe. It earned both Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novel. It was revised by the author in 1993 to correct errors and omissions from the original edition.
