57 pages with color frontispiece and illustrations. Folio (12 1/4" x 8 3/4") bound in original publisher's quarter brown cloth over yellow boards with a tipped on blue sheet with gilt lettering and gilt and white illustration. First published in 1888. The Happy Prince and Other Talesis a small set of fairy tales of Oscar Wilde . It is one of the author's first literary works and was published as early as 1888. It is a collection of five non-traditional fairy tales, with the help of which the author creates hidden satire, criticism and parables. Condition: Corners bumped, some light soiling, spine ends rubbed else very good.
