About This Item

"Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That there be published and bound 6,000 copies of the State papers and all correspondence bearing upon the purchase of the territory of Louisiana by the United States, including the treaty of purchase, 4,000 for the use of the House of Representatives and 2,000 for the use of the Senate. Passed the House May 10, 1902. Concurred in by the Senate May 13, 1902."

Very Good-condition. Black textured cloth over boards with impressed design on front and faded gold gilt text on spine. A little edge/corner wear. Corners are slightly bent. There are some white spots on both covers that did not come off. (They seem almost like white paint drips that were not completely wiped off, but I don't know.) Text is clean and binding is very good.
