Plainfield, VT: Bread and Puppet Theatre, 1974. Wraps. Very good. 8½ by 11 inches, stapled wraps. The outer wrap is on colored paper. Illustrated throughout with illustrations of the Stations of the Cross on one page and on the facing page appropriate music, generally scored for SATB or SAB or SSA. A small abrasion on the upper wrapper else a very good copy. Rare Bread and Puppet title.
The Bread and Puppet Theatre is a politically radical puppet theater company founded in 1963 by Peter Schumann and Elka Schumann and is currently based in Glover, Vermont. It is known for large puppets as well as the commitment to making art available to all.
