Reviews
On Apr 3 2020, a reader said:
William Colt MacDonald takes on the Abilene Trail and the cattle drive in this book from 1953, and does a remarkable job in the telling. I am sure the first man to suggest such a cattle drive was thought to be crazy, as there were so many unknowns. Yet tough determined enterprising men dared to do so. it is ALL there in this novel by one of the "greats" in the western genre.
