Two typed letters on United States Civil War Centennial Commission letterhead signed by James I. Robertson, Jr. laid in at front. Letters are addressed to book collector and Civil War enthusiast James Tubessing and concern the locations of brigade camps in Shenandoah Valley.
Dust jacket lightly worn with some creasing along edges. Boards with light shelfwear and binding is sound. Gift inscription to previous owner to front pastedown, though book itself is not signed by Robertson. Pages otherwise unmarked.
