London: Seeley, Jackson & Halliday, 1881. Fifth thousand. Leather. Very Good. Reprint, 1881. Very Good. 8vo., 299 pp., with 16 colored images including frontispiece. Bound in full navy calf binding with five raised bands, gilt tooling to spine, gilt school blind stamp to front board, marbled end papers and text edge. Prize binding from the King Edward School in Norwich, dated 1884. Small binders stamp inside rear cover - Fletcher, Norwich. Spine is slightly darkened, edges and tips rubbed, text edges rubbed and finger soiled, previous owners signature on end paper.
