Heinemamm, 1985. 1st Edition. Hardcover. F. MARKS, Alan. 1st Edition. 11.1 x 18.2cm yellow pictorial laminated boards with Carnegie Medal sticker to the front. (2) 42pp with 2.50 publisher's price sticker to the rear. Signed and inscribed by the author to the title page 'For Vivien - hwaet! just to remind you Kevin Crossley Holland'. In fine condition this is one of the first Heinemann Banana books and the first aimed at younger readers to win the Carnegie Medal. Scarce as a first edition and very scarce signed.
