Profusely illustrated with 4 folding panoramas, 10 sketches, 4 diagrams & 100 photographs. Deckled page edges. Written by a soldier for soldiers. Volume #1 (text) only (without vol. 2 map folder which was issued separately). Military; B&W Photographs; Thick 4to 11" - 13" tall; 370 pages .
