Story of the life and work of St Francis and his order of Grey Friars.126pp illustrated with 15 black and white photographs and colour drawing to frontis. Gilt lettering and figure to top board, gilt lettering to spine. Lower board slightly bowed, light foxing to top edges and darkened panel to endpaper, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Loosely enclosed, Septuacentenary programme of "Little Plays of St. Francis", performed by the Glastonbury Players in 1926, plus two related newspaper clippings..
