Internally, pages are bright, there are some scribbles in red crayon on four pages and there is a little soiling to a couple of pages. Some foxing to the endpapers.

Glasgow: Collins, 1935 according to Brirtish Library. Ephemera. Very Good. Plate 11.5" x 9" includes colour illustration in 3/4 inch margins by Harry B. Neilson.. Oblong folio hunting pictures on thick china glazed paper from this book of Foxes riding to hounds dressed in hunting kit. We have several more similar pages with amusing line illustrated verse on verso by Sir Francis Burnand. We don't break books for their plates but in this case the volume was incomplete as to both text and plates. The Plate is entirely original from the 1935 publication of this book and has text on the back.

Yellow pictorial paper covered boards with cloth spine (hardbound). covers lightly soiled and worn with bumped corners exposing tips of boards, spine deataching, text and illustrations clean and in vg cond. Full page color illustrations, full page and in-text black and white illustrations. Foxes go hunting riding dogs and chasing cats.

London: The St Catherine Press, 1913. First edition (hardback). 4to (28cm by 21cm), 77pp. Illustrated throughout in b&w by Harry B Neilson, plus a colour frontispiece. Original printed orange boards with colour illustration to the front board. Lacks the backstrip, the boards are rather rubbedlacks the front free endpaper, there are some pictures glued to the front pastedown, and the contents are a little thumbed. Only a fair copy overall, but still serviceable and readable.

Hardcover. 9.5" x 7.5"; hbk; brightly coloured illustrated boards in lovely condition; blue cloth spine; rear board cover has advertisement for Bournville Cocoa; 1st couple of pages are b/w adverts - mainly quarter page or half page; colour frontis; b/w title page with illustration; adverts at rear; stapled spine & main contents of book have come away - but in one lot, not separately; scarce; 4to 11" - 13" tall .

Internally minor foxing on the endapers, previous owner's name in pencil, one page has a repaired tear otherwise clean and bright. A good only copy. . Good. Illustrated Boards. 1918.

Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
