London: Chatto and Windus, Publishers. (Successors to John Camden Hotten) 490 pp. 19.5 x 14 cm. Green cloth covered boards with gilt pictorial front and gilt titling to spine; illustrated with numerous black and white illustrations and 4 color plates. Undated, but presumed published circa 1875. Some mild toning to spine with some nicking and rubbing to spine ends. Small inverted L-shaped puncture within title on spine. Rubbing and some bumping to corners of boards. Rectagular label ghost on front free endpaper. Small 17 mm closed tear and creasing to bottom corner of first page of Chapter One. Occasional spots of foxing to initial and final pages. Binding quite sound, although mull is visible between pages 384 and 385. . Hard Cover. Very Good.
