Red cloth with gilt lettering, 8vo, 199 pages, black and white illustrations throughout; a well kept copy, from the collection of Pulitzer nominated historian Gloria Grace Griffen, whose withdrawal stamped bookplate is adhered to front paste down; dust jacket is bright with slight edge wear and some smudging along spine, now protected in mylar cover. The story of the mysterious aristocrat who became a lady gambler and female daredevil of frontier days.
