Melbourne: Australian Red Cross Society/ McLaren & Co. no date c.1941. 4to, beige illustrated cloth, no jacket , illustrated endpapers by Daryl Lindsay, unpaginated, portrait frontis. of Queen Elizabeth, (wife of George VI ), comprising articles and text outlining the history and operations of the Intenational Society of the Red Cross, published to raise funds for the society during World War II, with many contributions from notable artists and other public figures; artists who contributed include Adrian Feint, Douglas Annand, Lionel Lindsay, Napier Waller, Daryl Lindsay, Elaine Haxton, Ethel Spowers, also many black and white photographs, there are small splits to top front and rear of spine, some minor spotting and foxing to pages, gift inscription dated Christmas 1942 on one of the preliminary pages, overall in very good clean condition, no major faults. No ISBN
