E-330, E-325. Very Good. Hardcover. Hardcover. 8vo. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1931. Xiv, 279 pages. Illustrated with color plates. The Scribner Illustrated Classics series. Bound in black cloth boards with color pastedown present to the front board and titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities (boards are lightly rubbed and worn). No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. They tell of how Siegfried forged the wondrous sword, Balmung, of his riding through flaming fire to awaken the maiden, Brunhild, and of the many other strange and daring deeds which he wrought. Many Norse myths are interwoven in the tale. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
