Original half-yearly bound volumes of the STRAND, including the first three stories of THE RETURN OF SHERLOCK HOLMES: "The Empty House," "The Norwood Builder," and "The Dancing Men." 9.5'' x 6.5''. Original blue pictorial cloth. Illustrated in black and white. 804 pages. Though no provenance markings, from the library of noted actor and Sherlockian Curtis Armstrong. Bindings worn, with moderate spotting. Rear hinge repaired. Text largely clean.
