About This Item
MACMILLAN, 1998-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good. 560pp. (black spine) large 8vo. sized. 1998. First impression. Flat signed by John Simpson to the title page in black ink with the inscription: 'To Joan with every good wish, October 1998'. A very good, clean, tight copy in similar jacket. Original publisher's black boards - gilt embossed to the spine. The text supported by some photographic reproductions. The tail of the spine a little bumped with some associated light creasing to the overlying jacket. The jacket has not been price-clipped but has some shelf wear and some creasing to the head of the spine. Some normal age toning to the pages. A very good, flat signed presentation copy.
