Seaview Books, New York., 1979. First Edition (Shown).. Hardcover.. As New/VG+. 9 7/16 H x 6 3/8 W x 2 1/16 inches thick.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. NEVER READ. Book Interior AS NEW / Boards Near Fine / Dust Jacket Very Good Minus. Sewn binding. Boards and spine are burgundy cloth, lettering gilt, front cover has embossed gilt signature of T. A. Edison. Dust jacket is white/brown/grey, lettering black/white, black/white photo in a round printed frame with grey border on front, same photo smaller size on spine and back cover. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has 3 tiny holes on front flap fold, front cover has a 3/4 inch rip, a small dot of dark brown and some faint bits of colour worn off in places on left side. Dust jacket has a 3/8 and a 1/4 inch rip in bottom edge and two 1/4 inch rips in top edge, one with paper in place, spine has a bit of colour worn off in places on left edge. Dust jacket back cover has only a bit of light grey marks in places from rubbing adjacent book on shelf, dj has some minor edge wear in only a few places. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, two front corner tips are bent, no spine creases, no sunning, a very small horizontal crease along part of the free bottom end of spine. Page edges bright, top edges slightly dusty in places, side edges have two small faint dust marks. Inner end papers are white. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Black/white photo plates in 2 sections. Black/white illustrations. Acknowledgements. Appendices - Number of Patents Issued To Edison Annually and An Edison Chronology. Reference Guide. Source Notes. Full Index.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
