About This Item

London: Andre Deutsch, 1976. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Gareth Floyd. First edition, first printing. Hardback book is tight and clean with a slight lean. Cloth Boards sharp and clean, gilt perfect. Text block clean and sharp, with a previous booksellers pencil price to the FEP. Feels very gently read. Price clipped jacket also near fine, bold colours and glossy, with only a 2mm split to the top corner of the foreedge. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A great example of this very scarce first printing title, telling the story of a young girl who "grows up" fighting to preserve a row of houses from developers. A super collectors copy.
