Large octavo, color photo-illustrated stapled stiff wraps (soft cover). 19 pp. Illustrated throughout with 29 black and white vintage photographs of historic streetcars on the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from horse drawn to electrified beginning in 1859. Two full page photographs and four half page color photographs on the front and back covers. With two street maps inside the front cover, a short history of Pittsburgh streetcars and long, detailed subtitles to each photograph. A pictorial history of this early form of mass transit. This copy remarkably well-preserved for such a fragile item. Very glossy, bright, stiff, crisp, square, tight, clean, and unmarked with bright staples without any rust and apparently unread. Pristine. AS NEW. Very scarce..
