Extracts from letters and diaries kept by members of the Struben family between 1884 & 1895. The Strubens were among the few of the early prospectors who made good on the Witwatersrand gold fields and are considered the pioneering prospectors of the Central and West Rand gold fields. He was the first to show that the quartz-pebble conglomerates (banket) contained gold in payable concentrations.

Local Deliveries: Standard Rate is via Pudo, Locker-to-Locker. Expedited Rate refers to use of either Fedex or Postnet if required by customer.

Overseas Deliveries: Standard Rate will use courier out of South Africa and then will utilise local postal service for 'last mile' deliveries. Expedited Rate will utilise full courier service.

Canadian customers please query us for delivery rate. Currently Canada is in International Postal Zone F, along with Australia, and the price quoted can probably be reduced to Canada
