New York: Henry Holt, (1914). First edition. INSCRIBED BY HAMILTON - "To Ralph Block -- flittings, flutterings, and floatings -- from his fellow=outcast, Clayton Hamilton [underscored with flourish] to commemorate their year of common exile at the Goldwyn Studios, Culver City, California 1921-1922." HOLLYWOOD PRODUCER AND SCREENWRITER Ralph Block (1889-1974) was an associate editor in Goldwyn's New York office before joining his compatriot Hamilton (1881-1946) for a stint out West. 8vo gilt-stamped dark red cloth boards; 298 pp. including index plus 5 pp. publisher's ads. Very good to near fine with touch of light shelf wear and spine lettering dulled but readable. Lacking the dust jacket.
