The green cloth boards are bumped and rubbed at the corners, black smudges on the front, rubbed at head/tail of darkened spine. Pen name on front endpaper, weak front hinge, a little foxing on title page. Book is a composite novel written by 14 American authors on the subject of the woman's vote, won three years after publication.
