Love was the NY Times correspondent in the Middle East from 1953-1956. Love was an associate professor at Princeton University's School of Oriental Studies from 1964 to 1968. Between 1971-1973 he was a professor of journalism at the American University in Cairo, and served as a Cairo correspondent for ABC News. In 1974 Love began to pursue a career as a free lance writer, editor and photographer. For the past two years he has engaged in research and interviews for a history of the 1953 coup in Iran. Love's major published work is the ' Suez: The Twice Fought War. He has produced many articles, reviews, broadcasts and taken photographs which have appeared nationally and internationally.
