About This Item
Ipswich: Norman Adlard & Co. Ltd, 1954. Third Edition. Orange Cloth. Good Plus/Good Plus. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Cautley, H. Munro. Type: Z 363pp. 1954. Third edition. No inscriptions. Original publisher's orange cloth. Complete with original wrapper, which is largely complete. Not price clipped, but with some foxing and some light stain marks to the spine. Several niks and slight chips to the head and tail of the spine. A couple of short tears to the wrapper, which have been repaired with acid-free transparent archival tape. Some light wrinkling to the tail of some plates with some rubbing in places to the lower margins - no loss of text or images. Otherwise a lovely, clean, tight copy with only some foxing to the endpapers. The printer's have left an additional uncut (4 pages) photographic plate loosely inserted - the images already present in the book. A good plus copy in like wrapper.
