Ipswich, England: East Anglian Magazine, 1948. 5th printing, 1952. HC, no DJ. PC VG. Cream cloth, brown titling, spine lean, edgewear, some moisture stains, corners bumped, gift inscription in blue ink to FFEP, author's street address in ink to title page, FO underlining, FO ink notes to rear endpapers, small newspaper clipping taped to rear free endpaper, binding sound. B/W photo illustrations. Several related newspaper clippings laid in, including author's notice of death of 1975. Typed letter SIGNED by author (dated 15 October, 1961) addressed to ""Mrs. Acker"" laid-in. A lovely association copy of this warmly received travel memoir by an American G.I.
