Contains black and white in-text illustrations, black and white photographic plates. Signed by the author to title page. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to front hinge with exposed binding, causing board to be slightly loose. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with some light soiled marking. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Scuffing and light marking overall. Light tanning to spine and edges. Minor brown and white marking to surfaces. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
