Another collection of "58 sparkling pieces of verse by America's most famous wit.," her second book, in 75 pages. A true FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1928, this hardcover 12mo (5" x 7.5') has a glossy black cloth wrapped spine, titled in gilt, with textured tan/black batik-like paper over the remaining boards. Condition is Near Fine: completely clean, binding straight & strong, pages very modestly tanned, heavier to edges. NO writing/underlining/highlighting; not ex-lib. Only flaw is very mild bumping to heel of spine & rubbing to tips of lower corners down to underlying boards. NO DJ.
