London: George Newnes Ltd, 1902 Book. Fair. Decorated Boards. 2nd Impression. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Fictional story set in a small harbour town amongst the shipping community. Illustrated with 16 black and white plates. Light brown/grey boards are illustrated to the front with a harbour scene in red, black and grey, which continues round to the spine. Top edges are tinted, other edges are cut unevenly and slightly browned. Left hinge slightly loose. Dedication and previous owner's name to front endpaper. Spine and corners bumped, long split to edge of backstrip. Fair copy..
