McClelland & Stewart Limited, 1961. Signed, inscribed, and dated by author ("For Yala, who makes flesh and soul swing in me. With love, Irving Oct. 14 '61"); cover quite rubbed/soiled and lightly age-toned with rub spots along spine junctures, flap edges lightly rubbed/bumped, rear flap has small rub spot at flap fore-edge (~0.25 inch), corners quite rubbed/bumped with some light creases, spine ends bumped/rubbed with some very minor tiny chips/tears (<0.25 inch), spine quite sunned/rubbed with multiple small chips/rub spots; edges age-toned/lightly soiled/very lightly foxed; endpapers lightly soiled/age-toned/foxed, ffep has author's inscription and signature with date in blue ink and some faint pencil erasures, some neat underlining and marginalia in pen on ~5 pages of foreword,some occasional very faint soiling throughout text block; binding cracked along hinge between inside cover and ffep and between rear cover and rfep but otherwise tight; cover, edges, and interior intact and clean except as noted.. Signed by Author. paperback. Good.
