About This Item

Seattle, WA: O. and E. Gerdes. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1989. First Edition. Paperback. Yellow cover with black print. This synopsis contains a listing by generation with name, marriage dates, birth and death dates. There is also an extensive index of names other than Pearl. Scarce if not rare genealogical reference. Rev. James Alexander Pearl Born 17 Apr 1807 in Knox County, Ohio, Father of Joseph A. Pearl, James Smith Pearl, John Alexander Pearl, Hannah Jane Pearl, Malinda (Pearl) Keeney, Isabella Caroline (Pearl) Kirk, Elizabeth Ann (Pearl) Van Winkle, Hannah R. Pearl, Minerva Pearl, Mary (Pearl) Robinett, William Henry Pearl, Silas Harrison Pearl, Redman Pearl, Sherman H. Pearl, Florence James Alexander Pearl was born according to his own family Bible on 17 April 1807 in probably Knox County, Ohio, USA. His most probable parents according to the Pearl Family Website are Alexander Perrill (c. 1770-c.1814) and Grace Beaumont (c. 1770-c. 1815) who were married on 29 May 1791 in Frederick, Maryland. Since he was orphaned at such an early age, it is difficult to know for certain that these were his parents, but there is fairly good evidence. The name as his father used it was Perrill. James used Pearl. There were many Perrill families in Maryland. ; 1807-1897; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 41 pages .
