New York: American Book Co., 1897. First edition. A fine uncut and unopened copy in the original printed wrappers.. Pp. x-xv, 209-506. Original printed pale green wrappers, sm 4to. Fascicle II covers Polypetalae from the Caryophyllaceae to the Polygalaceae. This work was continued and edited by Benjamin Lincoln Robinson after Asa Gray's death. Also included is a section from the publisher containing pages ix and x as well as pages 207 and 208 with instructions to the binder. No ownership marks.
