Paris: Imprimerie Royale, 1755. Beautiful hand coloured engraving from Table de L'Ordre des Chiens produced by Georges-Louis Leclerc, comte de Buffon (1707-1788). This table of dog genealogy was a fold-out plate found between pages 228 and 229 of Volume 5, published in 1755 (Volume 1 published 1749). Centre fold, with nice deep impression and very clean. Blank to verso. 290 x 400 mm (11½ x15¾ inches) . Belle gravure coloriée à la main de Table de L'Ordre des Chiens réalisée par Georges-Louis Leclerc, comte de Buffon (1707-1788). Ce tableau de généalogie canine était une planche dépliante trouvée entre les pages 228 et 229 du volume 5, publié en 1755 (volume 1 publié en 1749). Pli central, avec une belle impression profonde et très propre. Blanc au verso. 290 x 400 mm
