Stated First Edition, SIGNED by the author, in original dust jacket. Clean orange cloth boards with silver lettering on cover and spine. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with decorated endpapers. Inscribed and signed on front free endpaper by the author: "Joyously - Dorothy A. Stevens - June 16, 1954." Illustrations/page decorations throughout. Preface by Mrs. James D. Wyker, President, United Church Women. 159 pages. Dust jacket is not price clipped, has slight edge wear and a few short closed edge tears, slight fading to background of spine. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Many memorable experiences are connected with meals -- around the world, around the United States, and around the author's "World-in-a-nutshell home town, New York City." Stories from five continents, over twenty countries and from many states of the U.S. -- altogether, over 70 stories and 100 recipes have been included..
